Certification Exam of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court
for the Northern District of New York.
If you are an attorney who wishes to file bankruptcy
documents electronically in the Northern
District of New York and currently file bankruptcy
documents electronically in another district,
you may take the exam below to become
certified to file said documents electronically
in the Northern District of New York. To pass
the exam, you must receive a score of 80% or higher.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: Prior
to beginning the exam, please complete and mail to the Court
the appropriate Registration Form included in the document "Administrative
Procedures
For Filing, Signing and Verifying Pleadings and Papers By Electronic Means".
Upon receipt, the Court will respond to your Registration Form by e-mail. You'll be
provided with a test password and a list of documents that you must review prior to completing
the exam. Please DO NOT attempt to complete or submit the certification exam until the Court
has received your registration and instructed you to do so.
Creditors seeking limited access for the purpose of filing claims, reaffirmation agreements
and requests for notice will not be required to complete the certification exam. Upon
registering, limited access users will be provided with a test password and a list of
reference documents along with instructions for completing an exercise that consists
of simulating the filing of a document in our test database.
