Rule 5010-1.     Reopening Cases

A motion to reopen a case pursuant to FRBP 5010 shall be in writing and shall be accompanied by the appropriate filing fee. Unless otherwise ordered by the court, the motion shall be brought on notice to the former trustee, the United States trustee and, when the moving party is not the debtor, to the debtor. If the case has been transmitted to the Federal Records Center for storage, a separate retrieval fee must accompany the motion. The filing fee but not a retrieval fee may be waived by the court if a case is reopened to correct an administrative error or on account of actions relating to discharge.
